Conceived for a nautical design project by award winning interior design brand, Celine Interiors and Peter Reed, The Bluebird Linen collection was inspired by the studio’s work on The Bluebird of Chelsea, a 1930s classic motor-yacht.
Whilst the name and wider concept is taken from the classic yacht, the motif itself is an artist's interpretation of the booksleeve from ‘L'Oiseau Bleu’, a play written in 1908 by Belgian playwright and poet Maurice Maeterlinck.
A one of a kind collaboration, Peter Reed has been making luxury linens since 1861, bringing their lineage to the table, working with Noor of Celine Interiors the pair have created a series of linens with hidden surprises and inspired touches of luxury design throughout.
